ElanTech provides technical services to the Government for multiple disciplines – one of them being Systems Engineering. ElanTech systems engineers provide technical expertise in support of the Government’s acquisition of C4ISR systems and capabilities.
ElanTech provides systems engineering support for DCGS-A and DCGS-IC. Examples of key aspects of our support are noted below:
- Serve as technical lead to the Program Manager and/or Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (PM/COTR) with responsibility for technical knowledge of the program
- Work within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) that have Government and industry membership to manage the system specifications, conduct trade studies and resolve technical issues
- Coordinate with customers and users to understand operational needs and translate them into performance based requirements to be levied on a development contractor
- Participate in Engineering Review Boards to discuss Product Change Requests (PCRs) with the development contractor to ensure there is a common understanding of the requirements prior to the effort being quoted, to assess the PCR for architecture and performance impacts and to ensure no duplication of capabilities
- Provide technical evaluations to the COTR for development contractor proposals
- Provide engineering expertise during design development and design reviews to ensure the development contractors are meeting the intent of the system specifications
- Participate in program management reviews to ensure the technical content is accurately presented as well as to point out program risks and critical path issues
