SeaPort-E Quality Assurance

ElanTech will utilize our proven metric-based methodology for Quality Control employed on other programs and projects to ensure that Task Orders are managed and implemented to best industry standards to facilitate this performance-based contracting effort. Our approach to Quality Control will result in predictable and measurable quality across all Task Orders enabling the reuse of best practices across SeaPort-e Task Orders under this contract. Our Quality Control processes focus on delivery of products and processes while simultaneously maintaining the goals of enterprise success.

Through the Program Quality Control Plan, the Quality Control Manager will ensure that each Task Order will require the preparation of a specific Quality Control Plan (QCP). This QCP applies our overall management philosophy, governing policies, requirements, and accountability to ensure compliance with individual contract and Task Order requirements. Our Quality Control program includes:
  • Identifying requirements,
  • Identifying processes,
  • Implementing structure and processes,
  • Measuring and reporting compliance, and
  • Monitoring continuous improvement.
It will be the responsibility of the Quality Control Manager to implement and ‘institutionalize’ the Plan across all task orders through training and awareness with associated reporting and actions as appropriate.

The QCP ensures rigorous assessment of metrics and unwavering focus on user satisfaction. The plan includes scheduled and unscheduled monitoring, testing strategies, and other procedures to detect errors and deficiencies within services and products. We conduct walkthroughs, inspections, and service and product reviews to identify trends and issues and to ensure appropriate traceability to requirements and agreements. The Program Manager will assess all inspection and audit findings and trend analysis to ensure any discrepancies identified are corrected quickly and that action is taken to prevent recurrence (i.e., root cause analysis).
